Abby Volta is an emerging singer-songwriter and bassist. She defies typical genre boundaries and considers herself Gothic Alt Rock. Fusing poetic lyrics with driving bass lines, Volta’s music tells meaningful stories with themes of feminism and queerness. She pulls from multiple genres and is best described as a mix of Fiona Apple and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Abby recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a  Bachelors in Music Business Management. She has played shows around New England and New York at venues such as Mercury Lounge and Ralph's Rock Diner. Her singles “Noble Beast”, "Bela Lugosi" and “Rabbit Catcher” take inspiration from gothic literature with an alt-rock sound. Her latest single “Highway Hawks” is out March 27th.
